alfie moon
distortion is the moon pulling the
tide- the sand, a
domino effect but in rewind
lunar sea, it's 2.30 in the morning and the
vines begin to drain the white, stars
perforate the night sky like pin headed
predators, and the moon a white hole effacing the
earth, sucking the sea through a
straw, her hobby
it's easy to see how it aches, we
celebrate the death of a villain in a mirror that
reflects golden light and malachite, all the while
distortion is the moon pulling the tide down
punctured face, no
hesitation to be the pawn of a worthless man and his
ego, the system keeps it's prey myopically
hazd to sustain balance, an
equilibrium between manipulated and man
ipulator
distortion of the mind
mapped out from lust and contour
lines shaping crows feet planted from
eye buds, distortion
is the moon pulling hooks afraid,
tearing the skyline, the black coat is pulled
off, all white, and hands are tied.
nine to crush a skull and nine to
gain a brain, only
one to remove the mask and one to
plant the seed-
slashes and slashes and
smoke obscuring the light,
the white, and closing fists grab
the night, but
noise engulfs the moon and her
suitors in the stars. smoke still obscuring
the sky, we see none of this.
The dew is just symmetry of
constellation, the earthly consolation for
loss of our innocence
but even so, the dew still evaporates
in the morning.
